Pupil Bulletin 28th September 2016

• General

○ Morning Mass
All welcome to Mass every Thursday morning 8.15am in the auditory.

○ Lockers
Lockers are still available to purchase from the office, at the cost of £12.

○ Lost Property
Already we have received a number of items at lost property, bags, wallets, jumpers, jackets, shoes just to name a few! If you have misplaced any belongings please come to the janitor’s office at break or lunch time.

○ All school
Eco Group meetings on Wednesdays during P5A/P5B/P5C lunch in L45A.All pupils and teachers welcome.

○ Change
It is pupil’s responsibility to have the correct money for bus tickets etc. as the school office does not always have change.

Please ask PE staff for EE2 forms for events. There are regular sports competitions throughout the calendar so please join.

○ SPORTATHON

The PE dept NEED your EE2 forms as soon as possible and sponsor money. You MUST hand these to your designated teacher as follows:
S1 GIRLS - Miss Stryke
S1 BOYS - Mr Haynes
S2 GIRLS - Mr Bradley
S2 BOYS - Mr Locke
S3 GIRLS - Miss Pettigrew
S3 BOYS - Mr Downham

○ CROSS COUNTRY

Cross Country takes place next Wednesday (October 5th). NAMES HAVE BEEN SELECTED - please check the PE board and collect a letter & EE2 form from the PE dept. - If you cannot attend let the PE dept know please!

○ CALLING ALL CLUB SWIMMERS
St Margaret's needs you! The annual school swimming heats for West Lothian will be held on Sunday 6th November at Dean CHS. If you would like to swim please see Miss Pettigrew in PE for more information.

• Trips

○ Message for Iceland
EE2 forms should be collected ASAP from Mr. Docherty in U1. Passport numbers are now overdue and will be sent to the travel company this week. If you have not handed in this information then you need to see Mr. Docherty today

• S1/S2/S3

○ Drama Club
The Junior Drama Club will be starting up again but this time running over Thursday lunchtimes period 5a and b. The club is for S1 and S2 pupils and if anyone is interested then they should collect a letter from the Drama Department. The club will start on Thursday the 29th of September.

○ S1 CAT Testing
All S1 pupils will be undertaking CAT testing from the 3rd-5th October. Pupils will require headphones to complete this and it would be useful for pupils to bring their own headphones. For pupils without, headphones will be provided.

• S4/S5/S6

○ S6
All payments for Prom and yearbook have to be made electronically using IPAYIMPACT. Parents/Carers must register through West Lothian council's website, there will also be group calls sent to parents reminding they of payment deadlines etc...Yearbook and prom meetings will take place on Wednesday 28th September in U14, 5c lunch with Mrs. Weir

Its Ryder Cup week and St Margaret's Academy has some of its own Golfing Success to report. Lewis Dry, Jake Hamilton, Euan Valentine, Cameron McEwan, Nathan Davies, Shaun Redgrave, Stephen Blackshaw and Ryan Muir (pictured below) competed in the West Lothian Schools Golf Championship and won both the scratch and handicap event.
